What do creative people do at weekends? They become more creative. Work in progress is finished. I love gold and I always make it a part of my paintings. I was back in the UK just outside my hometown Liverpool before Christmas at a place called Hilbre 'West Kirby' (quite a contrast to where I live here above the Arctic Circle in northern Norway).
